Your role

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our cloud engineering team and improve our cloud-based infrastructure and tooling. With your DevOps mindset, you enable our product development teams to take end-to-end ownership of their products by providing them with reliable and easy-to-use tools and services.

Your mission

• Optimizing our cloud environment in terms of performance, reliability, cost, and security
• Providing tools that enable our product development teams to build and operate their products independently on our cloud platform
• Providing infrastructure building blocks to our product development teams
• Automating infrastructure tests and deployments
• Continuously sharing knowledge within the team and educating the platform consumers about cloud and infrastructure-related topics
• Staying in touch with the latest best practices and new trends and tools

Your profile

• A minimum of three years of experience working with Cloud Infrastructure
• Experience in managing Cloud Environments with Infrastructure as Code
• Experience in automating infrastructure deployments
• Experience in working with at least one of the following programming languages:
  • Python
  • Go
  • Terraform (HCL)
  • Java
  • JavaScript
• Excellent communication and knowledge-sharing skills
• A product mindset that centers around providing value to our internal customers

Desirable:

• Associate or Professional level AWS certification
• Proven track record of building and managing complex cloud environments
• Proven track record of building and managing internal development platforms
